This new Bosch condensing boiler replaced such a Saturn central heating boiler that failed because the heat exchanger punctured in multiple locations. With nowhere to source replacement parts and the high probability that several other integral parts have reached their operational “life span” the most economical and logical solution was to repair but replace the boiler with a more compact, modern and highly efficient central heating boiler. This included re-flashing the roof and creating new ceiling penetrations that had to flanged and tidied up. We were the third company to be called but after a short conversation Andrew was convinced the he had the right company to action his hot water cylinder emergency. The system was setup on LPG as the cost to thrust a new natural gas main to the property by Vector was ridiculously high, additionally the owner would have had to pay a monthly meter rate before even paying for gas making the LPG decision very easy to make. A central spot for the LPG bottles was found (allowing the provider easy access for replacement) and pavers put down to enable the safety chain and LPG regulator to be mounted back safely onto the property. Challenges included rerouting the hot water feed back into the property in way that would not increase his waiting time on delivery . Pricing included an electrician, all required valves and regulator, gas certification and all warranties. The result was endless hot water at mains pressure! Andrew was also pretty happy to see that we were able to install a limiting valve that enabled him to continue using his existing low pressure tapware without having to spend a fortune.
