JOB DESCRIPTION: The 40 year old Simplex low pressure hot water cylinder started making funny noises and with the upcoming renovation to gain more floor space it simply made sense to tackle the hot water installation immediately and get it out of the way. With access under the house this installation was relatively very easy in terms of access. Keeping regulations in mind even the positioning of the LPG bottles and Bosch Highflow was easily achieved.

Challenges included: the most difficult part of the job was not the plumbing but rather the electrical works. The existing hot water cylinder electrics didn’t comply to start with and this required the electrician to re-run new wiring from the electrical board to provide an external power point.
